Welcome to FastFit. This Privacy Policy explains how FastFit ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use our mobile application (the "App"). Your privacy and the security of your health data are critically important to us.
2. What Data We Collect
To provide and improve our personalized calorie tracking and nutrition services, we collect the following types of information:
- Account Information: When you sign in using Apple's "Sign in with Apple" service, we collect the anonymous user identifier, and if you permit, your name and email address.
- Health, Body, and Onboarding Data: To calculate your daily calorie needs and create a personalized plan, we collect data you provide during onboarding, including: gender, age/birth date, height, weight, target weight, activity level, diet preferences, meal times, water intake, obstacles, weaknesses, and energy levels.
- User Content (Food Logs): We collect the photos of food you upload and the text you enter to analyze and estimate nutritional values and calories. We do not collect or store any physical "before/after" progress photos.
- Apple Health (HealthKit) Data: With your explicit permission, we may read data from the Apple HealthKit database (such as steps, running, and active energy burned) to adjust your daily calorie goals dynamically.
3. How We Use Your Data
Your data is used exclusively for the following purposes:
- To Provide the Service: To estimate calories, track your nutrition, and generate personalized health roadmaps.
- Apple Health Data Usage: Data accessed from Apple HealthKit is used solely to update your daily calorie budget. We do not use or share Apple Health data for advertising or marketing purposes, nor do we sell it to data brokers.
- To Manage Your Account: Linking your tracking history and subscriptions to your secure user ID.
4. AI and Third-Party Services
To provide our core AI food recognition features, we share limited data with trusted third-party partners:
- Third-Party AI Providers: The food photos you snap and the text you input are sent to a secure third-party Artificial Intelligence service provider to analyze the image and return calorie/macro estimations. We do not use your food photos or personal data to train our own AI models.
- RevenueCat: We use RevenueCat to process and validate your auto-renewing subscriptions. We share your anonymous user ID with them. For more information, please review RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
5. Data Storage and Security
- Local & Cloud Storage: Your personal health data, daily logs, and user profile are securely synced. You can delete your data at any time.
- Data Deletion: You can request the deletion of your account and all associated data directly within the App by navigating to Settings > Delete Account. This action is irreversible.
